Michael Bracken, author of ten published or forthcoming collections, will discuss when, why, and how to craft single-author collections, how to pitch them to publishers, and how to work with publishers to ensure the best end result. Whether you’re a beginning writing looking ahead, or you already have several dozen published stories to your credit, this presentation will help you decide the right time to publish a collection and whether to query a traditional publisher or to self-publish. Additionally, Bracken will discuss the advantages and disadvantage of all-original, all-reprint, and mixed original and reprint anthologies, as well as best practices for organizing a collection’s content.

MICHAEL BRACKEN (www.CrimeFictionWriter.com), the author of ten published or forthcoming collections, is an Edgar- and Shamus-award nominee and three-time Derringer award-winner.
