Want to know your characters better? Write them a bio.

In a recent SinC-Up Tip, best-selling and award-winning authors, Norman Birnbach and Tilia K Jacobs, discussed the value of creating bios for your characters.

Here’s some of what Norman and Tilia shared
·         Bios help you get to know your characters.
·         Writing the bio can help you see if your character is unique or boring.
·         When writing with a co-author, it helps make sure both authors understand the characters and who they are.
·         It gives the characters depth and authenticity.
·         You can begin with a character bio template (example read in the full video linked below).
·         It helps develop secondary characters and antagonists more fully.
